Information Prophets is a leading player in the energy management software market. Digitalenergy is the software brand delivering an internet based energy management tool to help clients in the public and private sector reduce their carbon and energy usage. The software includes accreditations for Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC). The company believes that the software tool is only part of the solution for its clients and recently launched the Carbon Expressway as a six stage implementation plan and the Digitalenergy Academy to provide training services that form the complete solution. The companyâ??s early entrance to the market was through the public sector and now has around 120 clients including county councils, universities and hospitals. A year ago the company adopted an indirect model to bring in more private sector clients through partners. Early clients in this area include Price Waterhouse Cooper and Biffa plc.
