Our business model can be simply described as 'GreenTradeBay.com = Online B2B marketplace + Green Ranking + Offline Merchandise Trading'. At GreenTradebay.com (our online B2B marketplace), a dual-trading system which combines merchandise trading and carbon trading is constituted with an intersection part of these two trading system- Green Ranking, which is a measurement of merchandise trade participantsâ?? involvement in carbon trading. A higher activeness of participating in carbon trading leads to a higher green ranking of the participant, while a higher green ranking leads the participant to the more exposure and business opportunities at the merchandise trading platform in our B2B internet marketplace mechanism. With the Green Ranking system, we aim to lead the private sector in international trade to participate effectively in carbon emission reduction to offset the carbon footprint (CO2 emissions) arisen from their business operation, so that the whole international trade sector can achieve a low-carbon and green development model. Besides the online B2B marketplace and Green Ranking, we also provide offline trade agency service to our clients.
