Colgate have supported an Oral Hygiene Research Unit for over thirty years to carry out joint programmes with University of Manchester Dental School. This collaboration has resulted in the publication of numerous scientific papers on the prevention and epidemiology of caries and periodontal disease. The Unit is located at Skelton House, which is within easy walking distance of the University Dental School.
