NESTA Chief to speak at Manchester conference

Jonathan Kestenbaum, Chief Executive of NESTA will be the keynote speaker at the United Kingdom Science Park Association’s 25th Anniversary Conference in Manchester this September, it has been announced.

Over 200 guests are expected to attend the two-day innovation and networking conference which will be hosted by Manchester Science Parks (msp) at University Place, Oxford Road, Manchester on September 17th.

The conference, which is open to the public, is aimed at providing a wide view of the current innovation system with speakers looking at issues including the importance of talent in global competitiveness and the power of networks in driving business success.

Mr Kestenbaum, CEO of NESTA (The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts), will set the scene for delegates with a State of the Nation address based on NESTA’s diverse work throughout the United Kingdom.

Jane Davies, Chief Executive of msp, commented: “Jonathan Kestenbaum is a compelling and knowledgeable speaker and we are delighted that such a respected figure in the innovation sector is coming to Manchester to speak at the conference.
