Manchester Science Park based multimedia company SPL Communications was hard at work during the recent Manchester International Festival, filming guests at PZ Cussons’ city centre Soap Box structure.
International toiletries manufacturer, PZ Cussons Plc erected the purpose-built Soap Box venue in Manchester’s Cathedral Gardens, next to Urbis, from July 2nd to 11th as part of the Group’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
Visitors were invited inside to enjoy some fun-filled activities with the company’s renowned brands – and SPL’s team were on hand for five days to film the proceedings as part of a corporate communications video for PZ Cussons.
Ian Sandall, SPL Managing Director (pictured), explained: “The footage from the festival will be used in the corporate communications videos we are producing to commemorate PZ Cussons’ anniversary.
“The first film has already been shown to Managing Directors from PZ Cussons’ companies across the world, who were in Manchester to attend the Group’s annual conference, as well as to key investors and we had a great response,” he added.
The film will also be shown to staff and others stakeholders in the future and the Soap Box footage will add an extra element to the overall piece.
“The films provide a good mix of historical background on PZ Cussons including how the business began back in 1884 as well footage of the business in the 21st century, looking at PZ Cussons factories across the world,” continued Ian.
“Producing the film has been an enjoyable process and we have worked hard to ensure the history looks authentic, to get PZ Cussons message across succinctly and, as we have used HD cameras, the film will be future-proof,” he concluded.
