Renowned political thinker commissions PRWD

Manchester digital usability agency, PRWD, has been appointed by Conservative thinker Phillip Blond to develop a website for his new think tank ResPublica.

A research fellow at NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts),  Mr Blond (pictured) announced the creation of ResPublica in August. The think tank will work on a variety of cutting edge public policy research projects.

Paul Rouke, User Experience Director at PRWD, said they were delighted to have been asked to develop the website for ResPublica.

He continued: “We will be developing the website from the ground up, working closely with ResPublica to deliver a site that will offer visitors an opportunity to fully interact with the ResPublica team and community via social media features such as Twitter, blogging and wikis, as well as keeping up to date with publications, news, events and opinions.

“Not only are we developing the site to be launched, we will be working with Phillip and his team over the next twelve months to continually develop and improve the website, as part of our continual on-site improvement services.”

According to Mr Rouke, phase one of the ResPublica website, www.respublica.org.uk, will be live in November and it is expected to attract a wide following from all sides of the political arena.

Commenting on PRWD’s appointment, Mr Blond stated: “We are really looking forward to working with PRWD to develop one of the best and most interactive public policy websites in the field.”
