Three businessmen from msp tenant companies have so far made the cut and been selected as members of Business Insider magazine’s prestigious class of 42 Under 42 for 2009.
Terry Bland, Managing Director of Godel Technologies, along with the ANS Group’s Managing Director, Paul Sweeney, and Chief Executive, Scott Fletcher, were this month (July) named in Insider’s first round of names for 42 Under 42.
The feature, which Insider has been successfully running for 17 years, is aimed at identifying and rewarding the skill and talents of the new, up and coming crop of regional entrepreneurs who are all aged under 42.
The exclusive class will be recognized at the North West 42 Under 42 Dinner 2009, which will take place on October 13th at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester.
Commenting on the nomination, Godel’s Terry Bland, said it was an honour to have been selected and was indicative of the hard work and skill all members of Godel’s team had contributed to help develop the company.
Terry also pointed out that Neil Turvin, Sales Director at Godel partner company, Velum, has been nominated as one of the 2009 Crain’s Manchester Business’ 40 Under 40, an annual list of 40 people who have achieved success in business before turning 40.
Terry, who along with Scott Fletcher of ANS Group was one of Crain’s 2008 40 Under 40, was introduced to Neil when Neil was working at ANS Group. As a result of that introduction, Godel and Velum are now collaborating on a number of UK based projects.
