Manchester Science Parks-based technology infrastructure provider, ANS Group, is today launching Security 3.0, a security framework that uses Cisco, Cisco IronPort and RSA partner technologies to monitor and protect corporate networks.
Network security is a confusing and costly minefield consisting of myriad complex products each ‘speaking’ their own language, and each with a specific role in keeping your business safe and secure and allowing only authorised users access to business critical data.
Security 3.0 will allow businesses to consolidate and simplify their IT security measures, saving time and money; it will improve reporting functions and help with compliance issues all whilst providing the organisation with the vision of a borderless yet secure network.
It will also give employers peace of mind when allowing workers to remotely access sensitive information using mobile devices.
Paul Sweeney, managing director of ANS Group, said: “New technologies for making your business function more effectively are emerging all the time. This means that traditional solutions to IT security problems are no longer relevant and businesses urgently need to re-think how they are monitoring and managing any threats to their critical data.
“Our Security 3.0 architecture uses industry-leading web security technology from Cisco, IronPort and RSA to deliver the most robust and secure enterprise mobility solution on the market. It’s a flexible and scalable approach to the issue of IT security, meaning that no matter how big or small your business, or how new the threat, Security 3.0 will provide the most up-to-date defence.”
Gordon Thomson, Director for Cisco Security Europe commented “Cisco is delighted to be working in partnership with ANS Group to take Cisco's Security solutions to market with the Security 3.0 campaign. As networks become ever more important to the business success of our customers, it is even more important to take an architectural approach to providing complete security solutions for our customers. ANS Group's focus and skills in security allow us to provide this holistic approach for our customers to help control their costs and risks."
Rashmi Tarbatt, Chief Security Architect for RSA, EMEA also commented: “RSA, the Security Division of EMC, have partnered with ANS Group through Security 3.0 to build security into next-generation infrastructure. We believe that ANS Group’s comprehensive solution(s) will help our customers make the first steps on their journey to the private cloud. This journey has already started for most of our customers and ANS Group has the resources, skills and knowledge to deploy these strategic solutions with precision and accuracy.”
The new architecture builds on the success of their Infrastructure 3.0 architecture, launched in January of this year and currently being used by over 20 customers across the UK, including Xentrall Shared Services, Victrex, The Guinness Partnership and Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
To celebrate the launch of Security 3.0 and demonstrate its simplicity, ANS Group has produced a two minute video, available to watch on their website. The video also launches their ‘Charity Cash of Clicks Challenge’ where the Group promises to donate £1,000 to the NSPCC, if the video receives 1,000 clicks by November 1st.
Ends.
