Ross Fobian and Richard Hamnett, Directors at Manchester Science Park based call tracking company AdInsight, were this week interviewed live on BBC Radio Manchester’s business show.
Ross (25) and Richard (26) have been shortlisted for the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009, one of only eight businesses to have reached the finals of this prestigious, national competition.
As a result of their success, the two Directors were asked to appear live on BBC Radio Manchester’s business programme on Monday evening October 5th, where they were interviewed by presenter Steve Saul.
Speaking on the show, Ross and Richard outlined how the AdInsight software enables businesses to analyse how successful advertising campaigns are by tracking the phone calls an offline or online advert generates and whether or not those calls end in a sale.
Highlighting the system’s benefits, Richard pointed out that AdInsight was enabling businesses to “make decisions on which marketing is successful and which to cut as it is not working as well as expected.”

The overall winner of the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition will be announced at the Shell LiveWIRE LIVE! event on Tuesday, October 27th, winning a top prize of £10,000 for their business.
