On 25th July two teams from msp will be entering the Urbanathlon in Manchester.
Urbanathlons are multi-disciplinary city foot races with the emphasis squarely on having fun. The race is 5K long and has more than 12 urban obstacles across East Manchester.
We would like to invite other members of Manchester Science Parks to take part alongside us. If you wish to join us in raising sponsorship money for our charity for 2010, St Ann's Hospice, even better!
Start on the 2002 Commonwealth Games track, stagger up the `Stairway to Heaven` at the MCFC stadium, take on the fireman’s water slide, pick your way through the spiders web, scramble up the giant haystack, attack the rock climbing wall, vault over derelict cars and much, much more!
Start times from 11.00am in waves every 20mins, so no queuing at obstacles.
You can enter as an individual or in teams of 3.
To enter as an individual it costs £30
A team of 3 costs £80
