Manchester Science Parks has teamed up with Melbourne Server Hosting to come up with a broadband, large media server and VPN offer we think you will benefit from.
As the name suggests, Melbourne is not normally a broadband supplier, but can offer a very cost-effective connectivity package exclusively to msp tenants.
Melbourne can provide 100 MB broadband (both upstream and downstream, with a 1:5 contention ratio) for £95 per month to msp tenants in Williams, Kilburn, Greenheys, Enterprise, Rutherford and Turing House.
Tenants can also benefit from a large media FTP server with a 500 GB capacity and a web interface allowing the rapid upload and download of large files – ideal for anyone in the digital/creative sector. This is normally £75 per month, but costs £50 per month along with the broadband package.
Cost for the complete package of 100 MB broadband and 500 GB large media server is £145 per month, with a one-off charge of £75, and installation within one week.
Tenants interested in remote network access secured with a VPN should add £50 to the package price
