msp Community Choir

Venue:                   Williams House Unit 6 – far end of the building (has its own entrance)

Fee:                       £5 per head per session (payable on the day to Neil Firth – choir master)

Would you like to join a brand new lunch time singing group here at Manchester Science Park?

The group will be run by a multi-award winning Musical Director and experienced Workshop Leader. There will be no auditions so no previous singing experience is needed, just availability for 45 minutes one lunchtime per week.

The plan is to make the singing as uplifting as possible with the emphasis on having fun.

You’ll be given basic singing tuition so the sessions are ideal for non singers as well as the more experienced.

A Vocal Group training workshop focuses on:

    * Vocal projection, delivery and control
    * Breath control and breathing techniques
    * Posture and presence
    * Developing leadership skills
    * Confidence building and self belief
    * Managing stress and harnessing nerves
    * Presentation skills
    * Communication and interaction
    * Teambuilding and trust
    * Motivating and empowering
    * Relaxed but productive enjoyment
