Corridor Connections believes there will be real future opportunities for software developers to add value to the BBC North project. To facilitate the connection between the BBC’s needs and the capabilities of the businesses located on Corridor Manchester we will be running a requirements gathering workshop. This will identify current and future requirements that need software development capabilities. These requirements could lead to real commercial collaborative ventures to meet the opportunity. These could include areas such as:
- Development of new technology platforms to enable digital media distribution
- Multi-platform technologies to enable interactive engagement
- Green transport solutions for MediaCityUK
This event will bring together key individuals from the BBC, the knowledge community and software engineers with a connection to the Corridor Manchester.
